This terrifying, entrancing novel will certainly grab your attention, and won't let go until long after the book is finished.

The Book "Dirty Work" by Julia Bell is a strong story about two teenage girls with two totally different lives that one day clash together. Hope is 15 and lives a high class life but doesn't necessarily like it. Her mom and dad are super rich. Hope's mom is kind of on the snotty rich side where she doesn't like when hope hangs out with lower class people such as hope's best friends. Her mom thinks they are trashy, but on the other hand her dad is more laid back. Oksana who was tricked into prostitution/sex trafficking grew up in a much rather poor life in Russia. She was desperate for money as she tried raising her younger brother. An opportunity came along for a job little did she know her life would be changed forever. Hope who lives in England meet Oksana as Oksana hides in there van trying to escape from her "pimp". They eventually get caught and hope gets kidnapped into this horrid life. Hope and Oksana were bought and sold to people who used them as sex slaves. Its a fight for survival as the two girls who don't know each other struggle to escape but become a lot closer than expected.

The whole time i read this book i couldn't take my eyes off of it. It was moving and suspenseful watching these two girls try and survive a cruel way to live. I feel this book will be good for anybody. Young women like myself, Oksana, And Hope should read this to know the consequence for sex trafficking and to also gain there understanding about how this is an ongoing problem world wide. This book made me think about how sad it is that this happen everyday in the world. Boys and girls younger and older go threw this terrible thing and most don't get out of it. People need to realize that this is a major problem and more actions need to be taken to make a stop to sex trafficking and prostitution.
